COVID 19 situation in Togo

The Government has declared the full country in health emergency state

The Government has declared the full country in health emergency state and a curfew has been in force from 7 pm to 6 am since 02/04/2020). 

All schools, universities and institutes have been closed since 19/03/2020 as well as churches and mosques. 

Social distancing has been recommended and the Government imposed the compulsory wearing of masks since 15/03/2020 until further notice.

A special force of 5,000 men is now in charge to control the implementation of the measures taken by the Government in order to avoid the spread of the virus.

Public and private Offices are open – as is AFRICA P&I Togo in Lomé.

The Port of Lomé is open but works as from 9 am to 6 pm with hygiene measures.
